Overview of ARIS Lab
The Advanced Robotics and Intelligent Systems (ARIS) Laboratory in the School of Engineering at the University of Guelph is directed by Prof. Simon X. Yang. We conduct theoretical and practical research in diversified areas, including but not limited to, intelligent systems, robotics, control systems, sensors and multi-sensor fusion, wireless sensor networks, systems modeling and analysis. Our methodologies are featured with biologically inspired intelligence. Our research projects are funded by NSERC, Health Canada, PHAC, AAFC, OMAF, OCE, Ontario Pork, and several industrial partners.
